Tempers flare at Norvic Pizza House after diners allegedly plant hair in food, sparking a fight involving staff and five customers.

Shocking CCTV shows a female customer pulling her friend’s hair, then her own, and placing it into food at Norvic Pizza House on 21 March, with her party complaining to staff.

The manager said the group ordered fried chicken and returned after eating most of it, claiming there was hair in the food.

He said: “After eating most of the food, they came back claiming there was hair in it. It seemed suspicious, as it appeared to have been carefully placed on the food.

“I told them it was not our fault. It is clear from the CCTV that the hair was planted, and the situation then escalated into a fight.”

Footage shows the man taking the food to the counter, returning to his seat to gesture at staff, then going behind the counter and dragging a staff member into the customer area.

The confrontation quickly escalated into a brawl involving two staff and around five customers. A security guard from a neighbouring bar rushed in to try to calm the situation.

Norfolk Constabulary said they received a report of assault and fraud on 23 March.

The incident took place at around 4am on 21 March, when three women and two men assaulted a member of staff, who suffered minor injuries.

Enquiries are ongoing and no arrests have been made.
